Hello,
Now despite the many reviews online I decided to purchase the Razer Tiamat 7.1 V2 giving Razer the benefit of doubt.
Having got them and fiddling around with multiple settings which took the better part of my day. I just cannot seem to find the right settings that really bring out the true sound it’s capable off.
Please note: I did my bit of research before buying these. Where people recommend you need to have a sound card for these headphones. (I don’t have one)
My motherboard that is the MSI Z170A GAMING M7 supports 7.1 (which I figured would be good enough)
Yes, I have connected the all the cables appropriately. I did it twice. Referring to my motherboards manual and the Razer headphones manual.
I have tried adjusting the settings within the Realtek application, didn’t help much. As the audio still sounds okayish on stereo and very hollow on 7.1
Also, would it help enhance the experience if I paired these up with Dolby Atmos or THX?
Really looking for a fix if someone can help me out, it will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance for your time!

If you have decent 7.1 onboard audio just stick with realtek audio controller for better sound
I don’t know what settings you have but make sure it’s set to your primary device in windows and turn on audio enhancement , make sure spatial sound is turned off and format set to 24bit 19200HZ(studio quality)
In reailtek audio controls
SPEAKERS Amplifier level set to powerfull ( some times music sounds better at performance
DEFAULT FORMAT 24bit 19200HZ
SPEAKER CONFIGURATION 7.1 (movies with 5.1 will sound better at 5.1)
BASS MANAGEMENT set to on
In Device advanced settings
Connector retasking blue is set to side speakers Green set to front speakers
Playback device Set Make front and rear output two different audio streams simultaneously
Optional
Go back to Speakers and turn on room correction
Up the dB to +1 or 2 on all and set the bass speaker +3 or 4 or what ever sounds best for you
Then play around with the audio controller thats connected to the headset and adjust the levels of each speaker to your liking
I tend to have main audio on the controller set to max then have windows set to about 50 to 60%

No problem , This headset is highly underrated and gets a lot of bad reviews and flack from ppl that just don’t have the patience or knowledge to set then up to there full potential , Took me a few days to get them just right for me and happy to pass on what I learned

昨晚试验了一下老外的方法，感觉音质提升不太明显。但是自己通过另外一种方法有了明显改善。
首先是看电影potplayer需要设置重定向LFE，基本解决低音几乎无的问题。现场感马上就回来了。
然后是普通立体声的播放，油管、网易云是我用的比较多的，这两个如果用2.0模式几乎听不了，糊成一片。7.1模式需要打开声卡设置里的声音增强，听觉适应、低音管理、房间调整、声道填充。然后调一下音量控制台sub、center、front几个声道的音量到合适的位置。总体音量在40-50%之间，电脑音量可以市当调高，看具体情况（好在我通过罗技G613的音量快捷键调整起来也不复杂）。
最后，总体说一下迪亚海魔7.1 v2这款耳机。外观非常酷炫，如果担心亚克力磨损，可以把贴片盖上。然后佩戴非常舒适，目前除了bose QC35，它应该是最舒服的，一点都不夹头。这可是有10个发声单元的物理7.1声道耳机！音场、音色表现方面，我觉得还不错，但确实需要和7.1声卡（板载或独立）好好调教才能发挥出它的功力。我第一时间拿到这个耳机，一听这音色我顿时心凉了一大截，想这是什么玩意儿，没有低音就像个电话机的声音。虽然我不是什么hifi玩家，但这也太糊弄人了。我并没有放弃，因为在有LFE声道的情况下，低音表现还是可以的，一定是我那里设置的不对。
最近在捣鼓物理多声道耳机（5.1有美加狮AXPro/AXPro+，7.1有迪亚海魔7.1 v2和G989HD）。物理多声道耳机这个细分品类几乎快绝种了，怎么说呢，和家庭影院那种5.1、7.1确实没法比，音质方面比不过2.0的监听耳机。我个人觉得还是偏游戏和个人观影的需要。而且这些耳机造型都挺酷的。但多声道基本都绕不开声卡设置和一堆连接线，这个没有套件（比如logi G/雷云）支持，还是要花很多时间去设置的，只适合发烧友和爱折腾的玩家，不适合大部分消费者。
先写到这里，以后想到什么再来补充吧。
